ABS A-100 is a subcategory of the usual ABS material. Its properties are largely similar to the latter. However, warping rate and printing temperature for ABS A-100 is significantly reduced. Although ABS plastic is one of the most popular choices for 3D printing, it shrinks when it cools. This is especially so without a heated bed. The bottom of your print will cool at a different rate than the rest of your ABS print, resulting in dreaded warping. However, say goodbye to warping with ABS A-100. With this advanced filament, you can expect a more accurate and precise print.

Material: ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) Filament is a petrol extract that significantly removes toxic gases and has a slight gloss.

Ratio: 1.04g/cm3

Characteristics:

  • ABS A-100 is hard but contractive, so cracks or phenomena may occur during printing depending on the large sculpture or shape difference.
  • Unlike general ABS filament, ABS A-100 significantly reduces the chronic contraction phenomenon, enabling printing of large sculptures and maintaining post-processing such as fumigation and grinding.
  • Plastic burning odors may occur during printing.
  • Requires Heating Bed – Adhesive and uniform fusion points.
  • ABS A-100 is a material available in most FFF-type 3D printers. It uses raw materials certified as harmful substances such as ROHS and REACH.

Directions for Use:

  • It may be difficult to remove the output from the heating bed. Set bed temperature to below 100 degrees and apply raft as default.
  • Use the opened filaments quickly for optimal performance.
  • Make sure that the filament is fixed in the pool so that it does not twist when storing filament.
  • Keep filament sealed with dehumidifier and keep it in a cool place, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • There may be a lower-level yellowing phenomenon at output time.

Print Settings:

  • Usage Nozzle Temperature: 220 to 240 degrees
  • Filament diameter: 1.75mm + -0.05mm
